LIP reading students from Cricklade House were the first appointment for new Test Valley mayor and mayoress Cllr Tony Gentle and his wife Rita as they presented certificates to students who had successfully completed the course.
The mayor and mayoress later made their way into Andover town centre to officially launch the Cricklade College learning bus.
Alison Lawrence, head of community development at the college, said: "The learning bus offers computer training in a variety of settings. Currently it visits the River Way estate, Whitchurch, Tesco's main site in Andover, Penton and Wildhern and will be offering a taster session throughout the summer."
The unit, built by Rohill, uses the latest satellite communication technology and offers free and friendly training.
