YOUNG stars from Stagecoach Theatre Arts Andover Schools are set for their very own royal appointment as they prepare to perform at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday as part of the Queen's Golden Jubilee celebrations.
Looking forward to entertaining the Queen are 14-year-olds Amy-Louise Gill and Heather Nugent, and 15-year-olds Jessica Kent and Rebecca Townsend.
The royal command performance follows on from their involvement in a star-studded charity spectacular alongside Sir Cliff Richard at the Royal Albert Hall.
The youngsters will join in with others to make up a 5,000-strong Golden Jubilee Gospel Choir which will sing along The Mall before assembling at The Queen Victoria Memorial where the Queen will take her place for the final performance. Members of Stagecoach throughout the country are also forming a guard of honour through Admiralty Arch as the Queen drives back to Buckingham Palace from her celebration lunch.
A total of 500 students will be making history by running down The Mall with gold streamers heralding the final leg of the Queen's journey back to the Palace.
