Disabled people in the New Forest can now learn about new sports and activities, find teams and make friends at the touch of a button.
The district council has launched a website to meet the leisure requirements of people with special needs.
The website - www.r4u2.org.uk (recreation for you too) - is the brainchild of district recreation development officer Suzanne George and the creation of Totton College student Aaron Phipps.
Aaron, 19 , of Archers Close, Calmore, lost both legs below the knee and the tips of most of his fingers after being struck down by meningitis three years ago.
However, Aaron has refused to let his disability ruin his life, recently taking up sailing, playing basketball and studying for A-levels in art, graphics and photography and a City and Guilds IT. He was delighted to be asked to build the website.
He said the site was designed with disabilities in mind - the bright yellow background colour makes type easier for those with limited sight, for example.
"I don't know if I would want to make a career in computers but developing the site has broadened my horizons and will look good on my CV," said Aaron, who has been accepted to study an arts foundation course in Winchester from September.
To find out how to add entries to the website's contact list or events diary, contact Suzanne George via the website or on 023 8028 5268.
