Dimi Mascarenhas grabbed his first championship five-for of the season - but Yorkshire still made their highest ever Headingley score against Hampshire.
Mascarenhas had taken his third wicket - that of Craig White - on a rain-affected third day on which only ten overs were bowled.
Yesterday, with a draw always the likely result, Mascarenhas added Michael Lumb and Steve Kirby to his wickets collection, which now numbers 16 in the championship this season.
Mascarenhas caught South African Lumb off his bowling in the seventh over of the day.
But, by the time he had Kirby caught at the wicket, Yorkshire had secured maximum batting points for the first time since winning last year's title.
Coach Jimmy Cook said: "Dimi's bowling really nicely at the moment.
"He's not bowling any quicker than last year but he's getting the ball in good areas and is asking questions of the batsmen every time he bowls.
"It's great to see him doing so well."
Kirby's innings of 57 was the highlight of the only day not interrupted by rain and, along with Richard Blakey's 83, helped frustrate Robin Smith's men.
The England Academy man was dropped by keeper Nic Pothas off Neil Johnson when just three and went on to make Hampshire pay on a wicket of variable bounce.
Chris Tremlett, a fellow Academy pupil, came in for particular stick.
Kirby took four runs off Tremlett with one majestic back- foot cover drive and reached 49 with a six off Hampshire's 20-year-old that sailed over long leg and out of the ground.
It was another case of the tail wagging - Warwickshire's 214-run last wicket partnership at Edgbaston would still have been very much in the memory yesterday.
The circumstances were different but Kirby was able to score his maiden first-class fifty as Warwickshire number 11 Alan Richardson had last week.
Kirby and Matthew Hoggard, who equalled his highest first class score, put on 57 for the last wicket.
Cook added: "We were disappointed to let them get so many runs but we shouldn't read too much into their lower order batting.
"The draw was always the favourite result after all the rain we had on the third day, but we batted very well in the first innings. Robin Smith continued his good form as did John Crawley and Will Kendall."
Shaun Udal had fellow off spinner Richard Dawson caught at the wicket by Pothas and was grateful for a tumbling catch from Kendall at mid-wicket in dismissing Chris Silverwood.
Johnson added another sensational slip catch to his collection, diving full stretch to his right after Blakey had edged Tremlett.
The weather of the previous three days made all that aca-demic - but 11 points at the home of the champions was no bad result.
