SOME artists just seem to have it all - and Jewel is certainly one of them.
As well as being stunningly attractive, 27 year-old Alaska-born Jewel Kilcher has the kind of voice that most people can only dream of.
Jewel's date at Portsmouth Guildhall is the first of her European tour which continues on to two nights at the Royal Albert Hall, London followed by appearances at Manchester's Apollo and at Birmingham's Symphony Hall.
Her new album This Way was released in the UK in February of this year with her new single Break Me out on June 3.
The album includes tracks Jesus Loves You and The New Wild West - both political songs, the latter is particularly pointed, a scathing yet hopeful critique of modern America and its search for leadership in the new millennium.
"I don't want to look back on my music the way you look back on your photos in high school, when you had poofy hair," Jewel laughs.
"I'll always be curious musically and want to try new things, but above all, I want the music to sound honest and good in 20 years." PG
Sunday. Tickets £22.50. Box office 023 9282 4355.
