AFTER their double defeat during week one, Totton and Eling went to the other extreme with two handsome victories in the New Forest League.
Their Division 3 side - promoted last season - overcame Brockenhurst 7-1 (67-56) while their Division 5 outfit enjoyed a 7- (92-56) romp at Highcliffe.
Terry Freeman, Trevor Osborne and Charles Cochrane (24-11), backed by Wilf Glenn, Fred Ely and Eric Warren (14-8) and Eric Mellors, Bill Schofield and Gordon Parker (14-13), showed the way against Brockenhurst, Totton's only defeat being the 24-15 setback suffered by Vic Wilshire, Fred Lightfoot and John Day.
David Ralls, Jim Freeman and John Holgate (31-16) starred at Highcliffe where Dennis Wheeler, Ron Tricker and Dave King (24-10) also hit form along with Norman Cook, Brian Humphrey and Cliff Hewlett (19-12).
Stan Jones, Jim Pearce and Bill Pearce (18-18) just failed to land a Totton full house. Results:
