BASINGSTOKE Bison Ladies booked their place at Hull for the division one play-offs with a 5-2 victory in Romford on Saturday.
The visitors got off to a flying start, scoring after just 51 seconds.
Natalie West started the move as she passed out to Cheryl Ross who went down the right wing and sent in a cross which was converted at close range by Julie Saint.
After the break, the Wella-backed side doubled their lead as Ross broke away on the left wing and crossed for most valuable player Emma Toose to convert.
However, Romford hit back after that and by the second buzzer the game was tied at 2-2.
But the final period belonged to the Bison as they scored three unanswered goals.
Toose got the first at 34:25, assisted by Newman, and then Newman netted the final two, the first being assisted by Carla Gregory.
The victory completed a 100 per cent road record for the team this season.
