CROWDS flocked to the popular Popley Festival yesterday.
Among the attractions at John Hunt of Everest School were a fun fair, car boot sale, and craft stalls.
Many four-legged friends were present thanks to a lurcher show, where proud owners showed off their prized pooches to the judges.
The Winklebury-based Pet Education and Training Club joined the sea of wagging tails with a display of impressive dog obedience skills.
Basingstoke firemen John Corbett, Paul Burton, Dave Johnson and Dave Purves turned up to talk about safety issues and let local kids get a taste of the action at the wheel of their shiny engine.
Meanwhile, sporty types gathered around several displays including judo and kickboxing, while others preferred to take things easy in the sun, quaffing ice cream and hot dogs.
