THE Chapel Tri-stars were in dominant form at the southern region junior triathlon championships.

The boys' event was narrowly won by Aaron Harris from Basingstoke, ahead of Bitton Road Runners Ryan Cox and Chapel's Thomas Butt.

Medena Knespi of Sigma Sports destroyed the field by three minutes in the girls' 15 and 16-year-old race, with Alice Travers and Chapel's Lucy May finishing second and third respectively.

In the final race of the day Basingstoke's Craig Williams triumphed in the boys' 15 and 16-year-old event.
