TEST Valley Mayor Cllr Jack Taylor gave a special assembly to pupils at Anton Junior School as part of their citizenship curriculum.
Cllr Taylor, dressed in full mayoral robes, chatted to the youngsters about his role and the duties he has to perform during his mayoral year.
Pupils also had the chance to try on a number of different hats the mayor had brought to the assembly which he had collected during his travels.
