PUPILS from Castle Primary School, Ludgershall, have joined forces with Marks & Spencer to help raise funds for I CAN - the national educational charity for children with speech and language difficulties.
The youngsters were the first to pin their hopes for the next 50 years on the Rainbow of Hope in the Andover store as part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations.
The Rainbow of Hope campaign has been developed to raise funds for over one million children in the UK who have communication problems.
Children are invited to contribute their hopes and dreams for the next 50 years and Marks & Spencer will donate £1 for each of the first 50,000 hopes it receives.
Pam Pritchard, of the Andover store, said: "We are delighted to be providing support for I CAN.
"Thanks to the help of the children from Castle Primary School we will be able to make a real difference to the lives of young people with speech and language difficulties.
"We invite every child in Andover to visit our Rainbow of Hope until 8 June and help us by contributing their dream for the next 50 years."
