NOISE rather than silence will be golden in one Southampton city centre park over a four-day period in June.
Mayflower Park will attract tens of thousands of revellers during a right royal knees-up between Saturday, June 1 and Tuesday, June 4 to mark the Queen's Golden Jubilee.
A big programme of events is planned each day to mark the occasion - with the main event being a spectacular aquabatic water display on Monday, June 3.
The Golden Jubilee Jamboree in support of the Children Say Charity aims to raise awareness about children who, through profound deafness, have severe language and communication difficulties that can lead to delayed social and educational development.
All activities will run from midday- to 9pm on Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday and midday to 11pm on the Monday.
