THE winners of the inaugural Connor's Junior Challenge Cup squash tournament were presented with their prizes last weekend.
The competition, for seven to 14-year-olds, was won by Lauren Brady with Ryan Taylor finishing runner-up.
Other winners were Raj Garcha for the challenge cup quiz and Matthew Langridge, Ellie Taylor, Owen Dougherty and Matthew Dougherty in recognition of outstanding performances throughout the series.
Connor's junior coach Brian Ward said: "The series has been a great success, attracting an average of 30 players over the four monthly events held this year.
"Girls and boys aged between seven and 14 have entered from a number of clubs in the area, with the majority being current members of the successful Connor's Junior Squash Club who meet every Saturday morning at the Rose Bowl."
The next Junior Challenge Cup Series will start in September and will consist of eight events held monthly through the season, the finals taking place in April, 2003.
