BASINGSTOKE competition artistic girls' squad had their most successful month ever, with all the gymnasts passing their Hampshire Grades at Basingstoke and the Southern Region Grades at Dibden Purlieu.
Rebecca Curtis-Harris, eight, became county champion in grade six and was the only gymnast in the competition who achieved a distinction with a score of 45.045.
Curtis-Harris went on to represent Hampshire in the Southern Region Grades where she finished fifth overall and the team took the silver medal.
In grade four, Lucy Bolton, 10, became Hampshire champion and went on to take the regional title and also gained a gold medal as part of the Hampshire grade four team.
In the Southern Region grade one championships, 12-year-old Gemma Tydeman, the youngest competitor in this level, passed her grade with an excellent competition to take overall bronze medal.
Allana Penny, nine, gained distinction and the required 8.00 in range and conditioning to finish fifth in the Southern Region compulsory grade three championships.
Other success in the grades competitions were: County grade six - Tainsha Clayton, Kerry Collisson, Meredith Baylis, Alicia Hughes-White, Annabel Slater, Charlotte Hunter. County grade five - Elsie Nunn, Nicole Mohan. County grade four - Amber Tydeman, Jessica Sandwell. County grade three - Jade Anderson, Kim Hopper, Sarah Lacy-Smith, Courtney Marvel. Amy Hazelwood, Hannah Thurston. Regional grade one - Philippa Bolton.
The boys' artistic team clocked their second successive victory in the Hampshire under-eight conditioning league with the B team finishing fourth.
