A PUPIL at Hurstbourne Tarrant Primary School proved he's one of the best mathematicians in the country after winning a bronze award in the Primary Mathem-atics Challenge.
Ryan Norris, aged 11, scored so high in the first part of the challenge in November that he was invited to take part in the finals, where he won the bronze award from the Mathematical Assoc-iation.
The challenge is aimed at the top 60 per cent of pupils in primary schools and over 45,000 youngsters took part this year.
The best 1,100 were invited to take the harder challenge and Ryan is one of only 112 pupils to win an award.
