ST Mary Bourne villagers have elected their new parish council.
It was the only contested parish council election in Basingstoke and Deane borough with 16 residents contesting the nine seats.
Turn-out at over 55 per cent was well above the national average.
Four councillors were re-elected. They were Wyndham Culley (356), Raymond Randall (338), Mark Maclay (301) and Alan Marsden (296). Joining them as new parish councillors will be Sandra Grunsell (317), Philip Winchcombe, (281), Michael Widen (247), David Peart (242) and Philip Jeffery (236).
Not elected were Fiona Foote (235), Caroline Hoyes (227), Lynda North (193), Valeria Kennett (178), John Rodger (144), Jeffrey Harrison (102) and Christopher Hale (70).
