Eastleigh had much strength and depth in their ten-man squad for TVAC in the quarter-finals of the Vanden-Eynde Clubman's Knock-out Cup on Stoneham Bottom Lake.
Eastleigh ran out comfortable winners by 120 points to 92 and in the process took four out of the top six positions.
But the club did not have it all their own way with TVAC's Pete Newman scoring a comfortable victory with 22lb 1oz.
Poingdestre-sponsored angler Newman took three carp on the pole and pellet from peg 7 on the island for his victory.
Eastleigh's Harry Salkeld finished second with two carp for 17lb 4oz on the same tactics from the next peg to the winner with TVAC's Mick Small third with 11lb 11oz and Eastleigh's match secretary Dave Self fourth on 10lb 11oz.
Others: R. Hayward 8lb 14lb, B Drew 6lb 14oz.
Eastleigh now go forward to the national semi-finals on Gold Valley where they hold a realistic chance of making the finals.
The fourth round of the Nigel Turner Thomson's Financial Planning Sunday Series on HMS Dryad Lake at Portsmouth saw some good bags of carp reported with anglers averaging 36lb per rod.
Homestores Select's Paul Sears took 20 carp for 83lb 14oz on the method feeder and maggot from the golf course side of the lake to control things more or less from the start and run out a comfortable winner.
Cormorants' Terry Sargent, pictured left, was in top form and put in another impressive carp performance to finish second with 72-14-0 on the feeder and maggot from the peg next to the winner. Homestores Select's Mark Illingworth finished third with 70lb 10oz of carp with Bournemouth Lodge's Ivor Brittain in fourth with 62lb 3oz.
Others: E Harrison (Bournemouth Lodge) 60lb, John Banks (Cormorants Reelcare), 57lb. In the Series Points Championship Kev Molton now leads for the first time with 141 points from Dynamite Bait's Simon Hambridge with 134 points and Cormorants Team Sillybait's Graham Maton in third with 131 points.

The mid-week open on Stoneham saw a comprehensive victory for Homestores Select's Graham Tappenden who fished pole and corn over pellet from the middle of the lake for 33lb 12oz of carp and tench to outclass the field.
TVAC's Mick Small finished second with 22lb of tench and cruscians on the pole over pellet with Ray Hayward (Homestores Select) third with four carp for 19-1-0.
Others: K Downer 15lb 4oz, M Keney 13lb 13oz, C White 13lb 12oz.
Salmon Leap AC held a match on Hordle Lakes using Canal and Willow Lakes.
Willow produced all the top weights with Steve Hibbs (Cormorants) using cat food and paste to land 22lb 10oz of carp to 6lb on the pole fished against the island.
Trevor Beterridge finished second with 16lb 10oz of carp taken on the waggler up in the water with carp to 5lb. Mark Baker was third with 13lb 11oz of carp on the method feeder and maggot with Tony Foster-Watson fourth with a mixed bag for 13-6-0.
Eastleigh held their first Marshall Rolfe Team Toyota Clubman qualifying match on Stoneham Top Lake which saw victory go to Harry Salkeld.
He took three bream, a tench and a 13-0-0 carp from opposite the mud bank with the bream and tench falling to waggler and pellet while the bonus carp fell to pole and pellet in the margins.
Eastleigh match secreatary Dave Self finished second with two bream, two skimmers and a tench for 16lb 2oz on the open end feeder and maggot.
Paul White was third with a mixed bag for 13lb 13oz on the pole.
Others: L Glynn 12lb 6oz, S Pinkney 10lb 7oz, D Croucher 10lb 5oz.
