WE'RE delighted to announce that the poetry category has now been judged, and the winners notified.
First prize (£150) went to 14-year-old Natasha Webb for her poem Sailing into Hope.
Second prize (£75) went to Enid Marshall for Waterborne and third prize (£50) to Kit Merryn for Sailing into Hope.
The judge, poet Elizabeth Bewick, also selected five highly commended poems. These are Ellen of the Waves by Karen Eliot, A Long Shot by Geoffrey Loe, Sailing into Hope by June Buckle, Sailing into Hope by DM Russell and Sailing into Hope by DR Corfe. These poems will be printed in Creative Corner over the coming weeks.
