LEE Hodder and Richard Hurst will not be in the best of shape for their joint testimonial against AFC Bournemouth at Southern Gardens this evening (7.30pm).
But the injury-afflicted BAT pair are determined to soldier on and make the most of their big night.
Defender Hurst, who plans to retire from Jewson Wessex League football after 17 years as a Tobaccoman, has missed the last six weeks of his farewell season with ankle trouble.
And BAT have seen even less of the versatile Hodder, who has been sidelined on and off all season with a combination of suspensions and injuries.
"Neither of them has played much at all recently, but they're both determined to get through the whole 90 minutes tonight," said BAT boss Andy Leader.
Thanks to the hard work of events manager Ray Collins, there will be a host of stars turning out in support of the loyal club duo.
Saints legend Matt Le Tissier is presenting the half-time draw prizes and there will be special appearances from the area's managerial 'big three' of Gordon Strachan, Harry Redknapp and Sean O'Driscoll.
The BAT side will consist chiefly of 'old boys' with popular local names like Steve Hurst - Richard's brother - and Derek Dempsey coming back to the club.
Admission on the gate is £4 for adults and £2 for senior citizens/children. The souvenir programme costs £1.
