INNOVATORS in the south have just weeks to enter the Innovention 2002 Exhibition - run on behalf of business Link Wessex by South East Hampshire Enterprise Agencies.
Competition entries must be submitted by May 24 and so far range from a novel flycatcher to a golf swing speed meter. Entrants may be individuals or part of small or medium sized businesses from Hampshire, Dorset, Isle of Wight and adjacent counties.
Selected entrants will be invited to exhibit at the end of June at the Innovention 2002 Exhibition, to be held at the Friends Provident St Mary's Football Stadium in Southampton. The judging panel will announce the winners on the day.
Apart from competing for the £35,000 prize fund, exhibitors will also be able to meet commercial partners and potential licensees, venture capitalists and bankers.
