Eastleigh held a club match and invitation event on Mike Smith's Hordle Lakes and once again Bob's Lake produced some outstanding weights.
Invited angler, Bournemouth Lodge's Steve Hemmings, scored a runaway victory with 121lb 3oz of carp to 4lb on the feeder and maggot from tile dam wall fishing tight to the island.
Davis Tackle's veteran, Terry Hiscocks, finished second with 76lb 8oz of feeder caught carp to 6lb, with Steve Mancey third with 69lb.
Homestore Select's Graham Tappenden finished fourth with the top weight from Long Lake with 67lb 9oz of carp on the pole and corn.
Witherington Farms' Open saw success for Swindon angler Garry Etheridge who took 32lb 4oz of carp to 9lb on banded pellet from peg 62 on the inner circuit.
He won comfortably from match organiser, Reid's Tackles' John Gray, with 17lb 10oz off the next peg. Bob Wackerill finished third with 15lb 6oz and James Pitman fourth with 14lb 8oz.
The TVAC club match on Kings and Willow saw the carp in spawning mode rather than feeding as match secretary Cliff Carbis needed just five carp plus 4lb of rudd for a total of 31lb 13oz on pole and maggot from the Dam Wall on Kings.
He won from Poingdestre's Pete Newman, who took two carp plus rudd for 31lb 4oz from the shallows on Kings for second. Nick Jones finished third with 19lb 6oz of carp to 5lb from Willow. Others: G Warner 18lb 6oz, D Parun 16lb 13oz.
Lonis AC of New Milton held a match on the match lake at Broadlands which produced a string of good weights.
Danny Hall took the honours with 48lb 4oz of mixed carp and bream on the pole and maggot from peg five. Pete Arnold finished second from peg 13 with a similar mixed bag on the same tactics for 36lb 14 with Tony Haywood third with 31lb 9oz from peg 7.
The latest Withrington Farm Open saw much improved weights on the previous week with match organiser John Gray taking 43lb 8oz of carp to 3lb from the inner circuit peg 86 on Topmoor.
He managed to hold at bay last week's winner, Garry Etheridge, with 37lb 14oz. Brian Shutler finished third with 35lb+ and Mick Keynes (Christchurch) fourth with 30lb.
Saturday sees the eagerly awaited Van Den Eynde Clubman Knockout Cup quarter-final fixture between Eastleigh and TVAC on Stoneham Bottom Lake.
The home side hold all the aces, and TVAC will need to be at their very best to stop Eastleigh making the national final stage.
