Bashley boss Barry Blankley praised his team's strength of character after a 2-2 Eastern Division home draw with Histon, which left the Foresters tenth in the table.
Having fallen behind to a 54th-minute Peter Munns goal, Bash hit back with two goals in eight minutes from Stuart Hussey and Darren Robson and also saw a Hussey 25-yarder hit the post.
James Barker spoiled the last-day party with an equaliser two minutes from time, but Blankley said: "It would have been too easy for us to go through the motions, but we kept grinding away against a very good Histon side."
Defender Mark Jones picked up the supporters' player-of-the-year award before the kick-off and there was a com-petent debut from 17-year-old reserve keeper Dean Lewis.
