AFC Totton finished third, two points behind the champions, after a Mark Osman inspired 4-1 win at off-colour Thatcham Town.
Osman scored one and laid on the other three goals for Totton, whose victory was soured by a bizarre red card shown to Stuart Ritchie just after half-time.
Manager Ian Robinson described Ritchie's sending off as: "very harsh" and was even more annoyed as Totton now face a hefty JWL fine after exceeding the disci-plinary points threshold.
Osman laid on both first-half goals for Scott Bundy and Patrick James and, after Thatcham had clawed one back, bagged a third himself. Then he was back in a cre-ative mood, laying on Totton's fourth for Michael White.
A Stuart Hensman double set up Gosport Borough's 2-0 win over Lymington & New Milton - their first success against the Linnets in the JWL. Hensman fired Gosport into a 15th-minute lead and then doubled his tally with a spot kick.
Any hopes Lymington had of getting back into the game effectively ended when departing 'keeper Mark Brown flung himself full length to save a penalty by Steve Tate, who had been felled by Jamie Lunn.
