WHEN Mick Drozd completed 25 years service with Test Valley Borough Council he asked the local authority to make a donation to charity rather than receive a gift.
He is involved with the contract services department and started work in November 1976.
Mrs Jacqui Sands, from the revenues department, started a month earlier and received Royal Doulton china and table linen.
The presentations were made at the authority's HQ, Beech Hurst in Andover, by the mayor, Cllr Jack Taylor.
Test Valley council's chief executive, Alan Jones, was also present.
