TROJANS clinched the English Hockey Association Women's Division 1 title after forcing a 1-1 draw at relegated Bradford on Saturday.
Even though nearest challengers Wimbledon won 1-0 at Harleston, a draw was enough to ensure Trojans a coveted place in the Premier Division top flight of English women's hockey next season.
Tamsin Pascoe got the all important opening goal for Trojans, who had to withstand late pressure after Sara Whitehouse equalised five minutes from time.
A full report on Trojans' triumph will appear on Wednesday.
