EX-SAINTS midfielder David Hughes will not be alone as Eastleigh's player/assistant manager in the Jewson Wessex League next season.
Ambitious, new Ten Acres boss Paul Doswell has recruited former Peterborough and Exeter City centre-back Chris White as his second right-hand man.
Basingstoke-based White, 31, began his career at Portsmouth and has over 100 Football League games behind him. More recently he spent four years with Nationwide Conference outfit Yeovil.
Doswell, co-owner of Drew Smith Homes, joked: "Chris's brother works on site for us in Bournemouth and has been telling me for ages what a great player he is.
"I said it might improve his job prospects if he could get Chris to sign for us!"
