BIRMINGHAM'S most successful pop group, the Moody Blues, has no reason to be either blue or moody.
The long-lived rockers, whose first single, Go Now, reached the number One position in 1964, are still going strong.
With a 20-date UK tour starting next month and the release of a two-CD presentation pack at the end of this month, the foursome have proved that despite having spent almost 20 years in the music industry, they are still nowhere near retirement.
The tour, which will be coming to Bournemouth International Centre on May 21, includes three nights at the Royal Albert Hall, proving that you don't have to have won a television singing popularity contest to draw in the crowds.
The group will be performing all their greatest hits, including Nights in White Satin, Story in Your Eyes and, of course, Go Now.
Tickets for the Moody Blues' show at the BIC are priced £19.50-£23.50.
