THIS is the little doggy in the window that no one wants.
Five different owners have taken Ralph, an 11-year-old Yorkie, home - but none could provide the tender loving care he needs.
They all returned him to West End's Blue Cross animal rescue shelter on Bubb Lane.
The well-trained pooch will obey commands to sit, heel and stay, but needs someone to spend a lot of time with him or he gets distressed.
If left on his own at home for too long he becomes unsettled, so his ideal owner is someone who will spend a lot of time with him.
The manager of the shelter, Mel Kermode, said: "He really is a happy little character who you can have lots of fun with and he will give you lots of love in return.
"He just wants to be with you."
She added: "Ralph's very funny and he has some very comical expressions. He is also very well trained.
"He is very energetic so we are looking for someone who will be able to take him for lots of walks. Perhaps someone who lives near parks or fields.
"There's going to be someone for him, we just haven't found them yet. I have taken him home and he's good little chap to have about."
Anyone who is interested in Ralph should call the centre on 023 8069 2894 or drop in between 10am and 3pm.
