JO CORBEN easily retained her three backstroke titles at the Southern Counties Masters Championships at Crystal Palace.
After the intensity of the recent World Championships in New Zealand, the Fareham Nomads star saw her times expectedly below her best.
The same predictable results were gained by Tony Corben, who won the 200m butterfly, with silver being gained in the 100m butterfly, 50m butterfly and 200m backstroke.
Katie Everton became the latest swimmer from the club to set a British masters record. She did so in the 400m freestyle recording a time of 5min 5.62sec. Everton also set a Southern Counties record of 33.13sec in the 50m backstroke, and went on to win a further three gold and one silver medals.
Sarah Pinder, who has also recently returned to swimming, won the 50m breaststroke and claimed silver medals in the 100m and 200m breaststroke, plus the 200m medley.
Alan Nancarrow completed in five events, winning the 200m Backstroke, with silvers in the 200m and 400m freestyle.
Mark Franklin also made the victory rostrum with three silvers in the 50m backstroke, 100m backstroke and 400m freestyle.
