EASY-listening fans will be delighted to learn that big- band specialists the Bert Kaempfert Orchestra will be making a rare Hampshire appearance at The Anvil, Basingstoke, next month.
The orchestra is one of the biggest and best-known in the world and has sold more than 200 million records worldwide.
Led by trumpeter Tony Fisher, the 28-piece orchestra will be performing a selection of Kaempfert's most popular hits, including Strangers in the Night, Red Rose for a Blue Lady and Spanish Eyes.
They will also be performing music people Kaempfertladmired, such as Ted Heath and Count Basie.
