Developed in a remote corner of Russia, just north of Mongolia, "khooomei" throat-singing is now taken all over the world by the band Yat-Kha.

In the last ten years, Yat-Kha have pleased and amazed audiences everywhere from Hong Kong to Hitchin.

You can see them in action at the Quay Arts Theatre, Isle of Wight, on Sunday (box office: 01983 822490) as well as the Ashcroft Arts Centre, Fareham, on May 4 (box office: 01329 235161).
