SEVENTIES star Dave Edmunds will be knocking on the door of The Brook next week.
Edmunds, whose biggest hit was the 1970 single I Hear You Knocking, will be making a rare live appearance at the Portswood Road venue on Tuesday.
The Welsh-born performer fell in love with the guitar after seeing a Little Richard film when he was 13.
He went on to become one of the early Seventies' most popular singer-guitarists, scoring hits with Baby I Love You, Born To Be With You and Girls Talk.
Edmunds has also produced several well-known acts, including Status Quo, Shakin' Stevens and the Everly Brothers.
Tickets cost £15.
