LEGENDARY former manager of Southampton Football Club Lawrie McMenemy conducted the official opening of the new offices of the Thomas Lewis House Group. The group comprises Hillboulder, a groundwork and civil engineering company, KAR Contractors, painting and decorating contractors, August Homes, high quality residential property developers and FBC, high quality refurbishment, new build and commercial contracting.
Managing director of KAR Kevan Roberts said: "The move to our new offices in Southampton from Hedge End had become an urgent priority with the rapid expansion being experienced by all the group companies.
"Thomas Lewis House provides us with ideal office space in a perfect location to accommodate our anticipated future growth.
"The opening was a great success with 80 guests made up primarily of suppliers, clients and staff. Lawrie's contribution was very entertaining."
A limited edition print of the famous Bobby Stokes goal in the 1976 FA Cup Final, signed by Lawrie and Mick Channon, now hangs proudly in the reception area.
