ARNIE returns to the action forum with this much-talked-about, little-seen romp in which he plays a fireman whose wife and child have been killed by a terrorist bomb.
Gordy Brewer is nothing more than your average big, tough, good guy, until his family is wiped out in a bomb blast. Now he's mad. More than that, he's off to Colombia to track down the terrorist leader responsible.
Without his twin crutches of big guns and flat gags, Arnie was always going to struggle to make the grade and when you consider a plot that's skimpier than Cher's underwear, it doesn't look good for Collateral Damage.
Held back in the wake of the September 11 attacks, the film took on an unwarranted importance. Don't believe the hype!
