GOOD news is on the way for West End bookworms - the size of their village library is going to double very soon.
The parish council has selected a contractor to carry out the development of the new library facility.
It is hoped that building work will start early in the new year which will involve the extension of the front of the West End Parish Centre.
The new library will be twice the size of the current facility and the county library service will be providing all the inside fittings including a new reception desk and IT equipment.
It is expected that the new library will officially open next April.
