A LANCE corporal from Ludgershall is showing the men how to play as part of the Army women's football team.
While the Army men have been thrashed in the combined services competition, the women's team, including Ludgershall's Alex Cottier, humiliated the Royal Air Force by beating them 8-1. Now Alex, who is 27, will pitch herself against other women's teams at county level.
The Army squad, which was a bit of a joke just five years ago, is now a force to be reckoned with.
"I first played 17 years ago in the garden with my brother and it just went on from there. The highlight of my football career was getting my first cap for England. I now have five."
High on the women's list of priorities is getting their own strip.
