Police have made a fresh appeal for a lorry driver who was at the scene of a fatal crash to come forward.
Inspector David Watkins, of Winchester traffic police, says the driver has vital information.
A Winchester woman died when the Austin Metro in which she was a passenger collided head-on with a blue Ford Fiesta.
The collision occurred at 11.15am on Tuesday, December 11th, on the B3057 Kings Somborne to Romsey road near the junction with Horsebridge Road.
Police believe the Fiesta was overtaking a dark-coloured goods vehicle travelling towards Kings Somborne when it collided head-on with the beige Metro.
The goods vehicle is said to be larger than a Transit van.
"The driver of this vehicle has vital information about the collision. We urgently need to hear from him or from anyone who knows who he is," said Inspector Watkins.
"We are also appeal ing to haulage or delivery firms to check their records to see if one of their vehicles could have been on that road at the time," he added.
Since the collision, police have stopped-checked nearly 700 vehicles on the B3057 in their hunt for information.
"We want to thank all those drivers for their assistance. Their help is vital, and we apologise if they were inconvenienced," Insp Watkins said.
