A 28-YEAR-OLD man was due to appear in court today in connection with a high-speed police chase in a three-wheeled Robin Reliant allegedly stolen from Southampton.
James Macgregor is alleged to have stolen charity boxes from a Little Chef restaurant on the A30 in Winterslow, Wiltshire, before making his escape bid at speeds of up to 90mph.
Police officers tracked the vehicle for half-an-hour before making an arrest in Blandford, Dorset.
The car, made famous by Del Boy in the BBC's Only Fools and Horses, had been listed as stolen from the Southampton area before Saturday evening's pursuit.
Macgregor, of Blandford, was due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates' Court today.
He has been charged with stealing four charity boxes and with dangerous driving.
