THE BOOK of Miracles is set in a time when magic was real and it belonged to everyone.
The play, showing at Winchester's Theatre Royal today, tells the story of what happens when the Book of Miracles, the source of all magic, is stolen and only a young girl can retrieve it.
It is a fairytale rites of passage play about good, evil and the fear of the unknown, aimed at children aged seven to 11.
There is a matinee performance at 1.30pm and an evening show at 7pm.
All tickets cost £3.
