JACK Brett is the overall winner of the Totally Tennis Mini Tennis Champions Race.
The eight-year-old, who plays in the C Squad and started playing at Totally Tennis over five years ago, competed in every tournament in the latest series of the Mini Tennis Champion Race.
At each mini tournament they enter, players collect points according to their success and Brett, with 56 points, won by a margin of 13 points overall and received a new tennis racket as his prize.
Second place went to Dominique Gilbert (43 points), who just pipped Laanu Otudeko, who had 40 points.
Mini tennis is a Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) initiative designed to offer children aged five to eight a positive and exciting introduction to the game of tennis.
Children who play in the Dodgers, Giants and C squads are invited to compete in a champions race created by Totally Tennis.
It encourages players to build on the skills they have developed in their squad sessions and provide them with a fun first step into competitive tennis.
Head coach and mini tennis organiser Shane Deacon said: "This is our second mini tennis series and has been even more successful than the first, selling out four months in advance!
"This series' winner, Jack, came third last time and was determined to do better in this tournament.
"It is excellent that a young player shows such high levels of commitment by entering every tournament."
