THE communities of Upper Clatford and Anna Valley are celebrating after their village hall received a grant from the National Lottery Awards for All programme.
The cash has gone towards new tables and chairs with the latter getting the 'Thumbs up' from audiences at Scrooge, a Christmas tale performed by the Burdock Valley Players.
The old chairs were bought when Tasker's factory in AnnaValley closed in the early 1980s.
