TUESDAY evening's plumeting temperatures failed to deter Nether Wallop carol singers. About 25 of them, young and old, assembled in The Square to enjoy mulled wine and mince pies provided by a resident before touring the remainder of The Square and Church Hill. Customers in the Five Bells pub also enjoyed the singing and £130 was made. Organisers, the Danebury Players, will probably give the money to the local playgroup.
