The American producers of the latest Hollywood epic have turned to a small Hampshire film company.
Metro-Goldwyn-Meyer are currently in the final editing stages of a World War II epic, Hart's War, featuring Bruce Willis.
They have called on Twyford-based film and TV producer, Brian Matthews, for help.
His company, Tomahawk Films, specialises in German archive material, supplying rare Third Reich combat film, military marching music and sound effects.
For Hart's War, Brian has supplied material for the soundtrack for several prisoner-of-war scenes.
"It's a big first for me, for while I have been in the business for over 20 years, I have yet to be involved with a major American motion picture," he said.
Because of work commitments, Brian had to turn down the chance of being involved in an American movie last year.
"Being a big Bruce Willis fan, having my credits on the end of his next potential Hollywood screen hit will more than make up for that disappointment."
Hart's War is due to reach UK cinema screens next Easter--just when Brian reference book, The Military Music and Bandsmen of Adolf Hitler's Third Reich 1933-45, is due to be published.
