COMMUNITY groups in Hampshire have been granted a £170,141 cash bonanza from the National Lottery awards programme.
Grants of up to £5,000 - from Awards For All - have been given to 47 groups in the county to fund a range of projects. In Test Valley Andover Mind has received £3,678, Penton Recreation centre £4,100 and Redrice Junior Club £4,550.
Awards For All senior officer in the south east said: "We hope these latest grants will inspire other groups to apply.
"Next year is the Queen's Golden Jubilee and over the coming months we want to encourage more community organisations to apply to us with a range of special events to mark this significant moment."
