HEDGE END rhythmic gymnast Natasha Small was in the medals at the Southern Region Open Invitational event in Portsmouth.
Small, who trains with the Southampton and Portsmouth clubs, won gold against stiff competition for her ball and rope routines, and silver for her clubs.
The youngster also collected overall gold for the southern region and Hampshire areas.
Small also received the Frances Newman Trophy, awarded in honour of the south's only senior British champion, for achieving the highest score of all routines in the region.
Also taking medals were Julia Lo of Portsmouth and Cherlindrea Fuster of Southampton with silver and bronze medals in the under-8s category.
Rhythmic Gymnastics is growing in popularity in this country.
