ANDOVER'S Olympic medallist Kate Howey will lead a Hampshire squad session in Portsmouth next February.
Kate will run two sessions at the Mountbatten Centre on 3 February - one for 120 juniors in the morning and a second for 80 seniors in the afternoon.
Tickets for this event, priced at £5, will be sold at Hampshire squad sessions and regular attendance will help secure a place.
Kate bounced back from injury this year to claim the light-middleweight (under-70kg) silver medal at the world championships in Germany.
Starting in the sport as a seven-year-old with the Andover Judo Club, 28-year-old Kate has won silver and bronze Olympic medals.
Hampshire's next junior squad session will be on 16 December at the Fleming Park Leisure Centre in Eastleigh from 9-11am.
