Broadlands has had an excellent week on the carp front for the time of the year, with syndicate member Rob McIntyre enjoying a fabulous spell in the Inlet Bay.

McIntyre landed ten doubles, including two of the newly-stocked fish at 20lb 2oz and 20lb 8oz, plus another brace at 19lb 8oz and 19lb 12oz. Syndicate member Jason Denman also took one of the new stock at 20lb 4oz, while the best fish of the week at 26lb fell to Tony Lewis.

On the pike front, Southampton's Dan Tibot landed three jacks and a 19lb on trout bait, while Brian Arnold of Salisbury took the week's best predator at 21lb 4oz.

Portsmouth angler Jim Bradley enjoyed a good session on the Match Lake at Broadlands, taking 74lb of carp fishing maggot and waggler down the middle.

Longbridge saw Ron Weeks of Salisbury become the first angler to record a brace of 20lb carp in a day from the venue when landing mirrors of 22lb and 21lb in a six-fish haul. Wayne Black took seven fish, including common of 18lb 8oz and 15lb.

Brian Tillman's Mopley Pond Fishery produced one of its best bags of carp for some time when Ian Fox of Dibden took four mirrors between 12lb and 18lb 8oz.

Fox completed a successful day with commons - and a pup of 2lb - for a 101lb 14oz bag in 24 hours on whisky-flavoured boilies over trout pellets.

Best pike of the week from Dave Wateridge's Waldens Farm Complex was a 20lb 2oz fish by Fair Oak's John Spearing.

Jon Burch set a new fishery record on his Longhouse Complex when landing the fully-scaled mirror at 22lb 6oz on a single halibut pellet over pellets from Wood Lake.

Mike Jarvis had the best bag of the week when taking 88lb of carp to 12lb 4oz on waggler and caster and worm over hemp.

On Willow, John Cummings took 42lb 8oz of carp, roach and perch on maggot.

Christine and Keith Duell's Turfcroft Farm Fishery continues to fish well with Terry and Paul from Bournemouth taking 40lb bags of tench, bream and carp on corn and sausage from pegs 20 and 27.

Tony Amos of Southampton took a mixed bag of 30lb on float fished corn, while James Flanagan and Louisa Ripington of Bournemouth shared a 50lb bag on corn, including ghosties to 8lb and bream to 6lb.
