ANOTHER boost for the appeal to raise money for special cardiac X-ray equipment has been provided by pharmaceuticals company Eli Lilly.
The cash will go towards the £70,000 the North Hampshire Medical Fund needs to buy the equipment so doctors in the coronary care unit can insert temporary pacemakers without patients having to trek downstairs through the hospital.
The £113 gift is the firm's second donation and was raised through a jeans dress-down day.
Eli Lilly's first donation was slightly larger, at £10,000.
