ESSO SAC: A beach championships fixture held at Hythe saw 22 members in action with 15 returning 65 flounders weighing 66lb 7.75oz to the scales, the heaviest being a 1lb 15.25oz bagged by junior member Dan Yeates.
Another junior, Gary Yeates, won the event with eight flatties weighing exactly 9lb, followed by Alan Rowland 8lb 4.50oz, Dan Yeates 5lb 15oz, Steve Hurst 5lb 6.50oz and Kayleigh Wheeler 4lb 13.75oz.
LYMINGTON & DISTRICT SFC: Marks to the south of The Needles were the setting for the latest large boat fixture, in which whiting, pout, dogfish, scad and pollack set the tempo.
The heaviest apprehended by Kim Gregory was a 12lb 11oz specimen pollack.
Junior member Matt Woodford had a clear victory with 91 points ahead of Alec Harmer, the club's chairman with 58 points. Others: 3 Chris Tsoulli 56, 4 Kim Gregory 45, 5 John James 31.
The third round of the measure and return winter league at Calshot produced a smattering of bass, pout, smoothhound and flounders with Adrian Smith winning with 109 points followed by Chris Ellis 88, Brian Dawkins 84, Paul Dibden 83, Rowland Blomfield 72 and Andy Hopkins 63.
The pool for the longest flatfish was won by Chris Ellis with a 39cm flounder while the round-fish section was won by Adrian Smith with a 35cm smoothhound.
HAnts RODBENDERS SAC: The penultimate match in the shore championships was held at Stokes Bay, where pout, dabs and whiting dominated.
John Warren was the top performer with nine fish weighing 2lb 2 oz to get the better of Mick Isaacs, Mick Longhurst and Debbie Isaac.
Darren Dixen and Lee Gatrell now head the overall leader table with 464 points followed by Justin Rouland and John Warren with 461 and 458 respectively.
Mick Isaac has dominated the roving league and again won the November fixture ahead of Debbie Isaac - the rest of the field drew a blank.

MARDEN EDWARDS SFC: The action was disappointing in a roving shore fixture with Angus Ayling coming out on top with 2lb 12.25oz followed by Graham Clark and Brian Davis with 1lb 2.25oz and 12.25oz respectively.
SHIRLEY SAC: Pout, dabs, wrasse, rockling and pollack supplied the action in a shore fixture at Gillkicker and Haslar Wall, where 16 of the 29 competitors returned 32 fish to the scales.
The heaviest fish was an unseasonal ballan wrasse caught by Eddie Norris which weighed exactly 1lb. Results - seniors: 1 Ray Dunham 1lb 8oz, 2 Michael Teague 1lb 4oz, 3 Eddie Norris 1lb 3oz, 4 Richard Dunham 1lb, 5 John Carstairs 12oz.
Juniors: 1 Georgina Mundy 7oz, 2= Joseph Teague and Stuart Patterson 4oz.
