Trojans teenager Alex Danson has been short-listed for the inaugural BBC Television Young Sports Person of the Year award.
Danson, 16, who made her full England debut against Germany in Cologne last month, was among 600 athletes nominated by viewers of the BBC childrens programme Blue Peter.
She will find out if she is one of the finalists on December 7 - two days before the awards are announced.
Danson has more pressing business on Saturday when Trojans face a 'must win' National League Division 1 test against Bradford at Wellington, 1.30.
"Three points is a must if we are to remain in contention at the Christmas half-way mark," warned Trojans' manager Louise Carter after a second consecutive 1-1 draw.
Trojans found themselves chasing the game after Liz Van Poorpiviet gave Harleston Magpies a fifth-minute lead.
But, after a poor first-half performance, Trojans sparked into life and their mounting pressure told with Davina Ablett equalising from Nadine Devereux's short corner.
Southampton Ladies suffered a four-defeat nightmare, with the 1st team getting a lesson in taking chances from South Division 1 leaders Epsom.
Chances came and went for Southampton, but Epsom struck twice to secure a 2-0 win.
Southampton II had three goals disallowed as they sank 2-0 at New Milton, while the third XI went down 6-0 to Aldershot & Farnham and the fourths 3-0 against the Isle of Wight.
Second-placed Romsey kept the pressure on the Hampshire League Division 2 title race with a third successive win, beating Petersfield 3-1.
Some brave goalkeeping kept Romsey at bay until Sam Bundy burst into the circle allowing Suzanne Ross to fire the title chasers into a 25th-minute lead.
A second-half brace by Angie Walker - the first a clever near post finish, and Romsey's third the climax of neat build up play by Mel Brewer and Angela Fisher clinched a 3-1 win.
Other results: Fordingbridge 4 (Lois Shering 2, Kathryn Pugh, Anna Priest) Alton 1, Romsey II 1 (Wendy Benson) Gregarians 2nd X1 0, Romsey III 2 (Jill Livingstone, Laura Brown) Gregarians III 1.
